The Waldorf School of Santa Barbara

Parent Association

The Parent Association of the Waldorf School of Santa Barbara, a community building organization, serves as the vehicle for full parental involvement in the life of the school community. The Parent Association actively supports the Board of Trustees, the Pedagogical Council, the Leadership Team and all Faculty and Staff on behalf of our children, while contributing to the intellectual, physical and social climate of the school community.
The Parent Association is currently made up of the following sub-committees: Parent Ambassadors (HEART); Parent Enrichment (HEAD); and Story Curation (HANDS).
The Parent Council meets once a month, with sub-committee meetings scheduled as needed on a bi-weekly basis.
For more information, please contact Laura Macker, Parent Council Chair.
