Application for Enrollment: Proccedures & Forms

The Waldorf School of Santa Barbara encourages all families to attend a Walk Through the Grades and/or an Open House to get a closer look at our school before you begin the application process. Please contact the Heidi Goodwin to set up a time to visit that fits your schedule and needs.

Please contact the Administration Office for more information about the school's programs and philosophy, tuition and fees, and opportunities to visit the school.

Application Process
The priority enrollment deadline is February 17th, 2017. We do accept applications after the deadline and throughout the school year based on space availability.

Application for Enrollment Steps:
  1. Complete your online Admissions Application here.

  2. After your Admissions Application is received, it will be reviewed by the class teacher and an interview will be scheduled with the child and/or family.

  3. If a family has not yet visited our school, the Enrollment Director will meet with you to share insights and information about our values, community, calendar, and educational philosophy, as well as be there to answer and assist with any additional questions.

  4. Once an acceptance decision has been made, the office will notify your family and we will begin the registration process.

    Children are placed according to the developmental, academic and social needs of the child at the time of enrollment. Public school grade level may or may not correspond to Waldorf grade level.
