Come for a Visit

We believe the best way for you to evaluate Waldorf Education is to see it.  Therefore, we offer many opportunities for you to come and visit our school.
Early Childhood Open Houses

Our regularly scheduled Open Houses are an opportunity for you to visit the Early Childhood classrooms, meet the teachers and find out more about our approach to learning in these early years.  Get a peek into our classes for toddlers and their caregivers, for nursery school age children, and for kindergartners.  There is plenty of time to talk with our early childhood faculty about the magical work they do.  The next Early Childhood Open house will be held Saturday, September 25 from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at the Early Childhood Campus.

Walks Through the Grades

To see Waldorf Education as taught in the elementary and middle school classrooms you are invited to attend a "Walk Through the Grades".  You will be given the chance to spend time in each of the classrooms, witnessing the inspired teaching that takes place.  There is also a question and answer time and a chance to gather printed information to take home.

In these visits we endeavor to interrupt the classroom rhythm as little as possible, so you never know what you will see... sometimes quiet work, sometimes dynamic interaction.  You are invited to join these walks more than once to get a fuller sense of the work that goes on.  The next Walk Through the Grades will be held Wednesday, September 29 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the Fairview Campus.

Academic Fair and Grades Open House

Our annual Academic Fair is a chance for the middle school students to share  the work they have been engaged in.  It is often eye opening for those with younger ones to see the level of academic variety and complexity the children can look forward to experiencing and learning as the years pass.  In addition to engaging with the upper grades students, this is also a chance to visit the grades' classrooms and talk with the faculty more about Waldorf Education.
