Supporting the School
- Your ongoing support of the Waldorf School of Santa Barbara is greatly appreciated. Some of the ways you can support the school financially are listed below.
- Annual Giving Campaign
-
As with most private schools and other non-profit entities, there is a gap between what we receive in tuition and fees from our students and the operating costs we incur. This is in keeping with our wish to charge a reasonable tuition amount and welcome as many students as possible. The Annual Fund is way for those who are able to help fund that gap to make a tax-deductible contribution that will support and strengthen the school. This year to show our commitment to this community and the wonderful education it offers our children we have asked each family and staff member of our school contribute, to the extent they are able (see the letter sent to the community). Although gifts need to average approximately one month’s tuition, no amount is too large or too small. We also seek the support of the wider community to help us keep this education available to as many children as possible. You can make a donation online or click here for our contact information.
- Access Card
Our
school store now offers the "Santa Barbara Axxess" discount book. If
you do not know what the Axxess Book is, please take a moment and check
out the Axxess website.
What you will find are hundreds of discounts for products and services
you are already purchasing. There are numerous “buy one get one free”
offers from your favorite eateries, most often followed by a 10%
discount thereafter. The $30 you will spend for the book will easily be
paid for by the second or third use of your discount card, with the
potential for hundreds more in savings. Best of all, when you purchase
an Axxess book from the school store, you help raise funds for the
continuing successful operation of our school. Stop by the store at 401
N. Fairview Avenue or call the office at (805)967-6656 to reserve your
copy today.
The Waldorf School of Santa Barbara is a member of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA) and a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, Federal Tax I.D. number 77-0035318.
