Preserving Childhood and Inspiring Lifelong Learning Since 1984
With our broad, rigorous, earth-honoring curriculum the Waldorf School of Santa Barbara shines in so many ways.
- We teach to the hands, heart, and head – the whole of the child. We carefully and lovingly honor the various stages of each child’s development.
- We provide a healthy, healing, nature-connected education that involves hiking, gardening, field-trips, and caring for animals.
- We are an open community, striving to enroll all who might be interested, regardless of background.
This is where your donation counts.
Our Annual Giving Campaign funds are used to nurture the richness of a full Waldorf education, nursery through grade eight. Specifically, the monies raised provide tuition assistance, improve facilities, and support a host of student programs. Your gift is one of the most profound statements of support our school can receive. No gift is too small and each is deeply valued. Help us nurture the potential of our students, teachers and programs by making a one-time donation, or sustaining a recurring quarterly or monthly donation.
We have been shining for over 33 years. Help us shine even brighter.
Our Annual Giving campaign is our primary fundraising strategy to cover the gap between tuition and operating cost. Our current year budget goal for annual giving is $50,000 and 100% participation from every parent (as well as faculty, administrative staff, and board member) at the school.
Because the Waldorf School of the Santa Barbara is a nonprofit institution, every contribution to the Annual Giving campaign is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Our Annual Giving campaign runs on the school calendar year, from August 1 through July 31.
We thank all of our supporters for their generous gifts and contributions throughout the years.
