GENEROSITY IS WHAT BRINGS US TOGETHER

Your contribution provides our school with crucial operating funds. Every gift—big or small—makes a meaningful impact.

Together, We Grow Something Beautiful

Our Annual Giving Campaign is our primary fundraiser to help cover the gap between tuition and our operating costs.

OUR GOAL

$175,000 with 100% participation from every family and board member at our school. Each contribution provides our school with crucial operating funds. Every gift—big or small—makes a meaningful impact.

  • The Waldorf School of Santa Barbara is a nonprofit institution; every contribution to the Annual Giving Campaign is tax-deductible. Our Annual Giving Campaign runs on the school calendar year: July 1st through the following June 30th.

A strong annual giving program and healthy level of operating reserves demonstrate that our school is financially stable and a responsible steward of donor funds.

Your support through annual giving provides:

    • Essential operating funds for day-to-day needs

    • Growth of reserves for long-term stability

    • Flexibility to invest in new opportunities

    • Resilience in times of economic uncertainty

Together, these contributions help ensure that our school can thrive today and plan wisely for tomorrow.

  • Your donation helps our school maintain financial health and achieve its mission of providing a Waldorf education that honors the head, heart, hands—the whole of the child.

Funds are utilized in the following ways:

    • Maintaining healthy classrooms + sustainable class sizes by making a Waldorf education accessible to a broad range of families through tuition assistance.

    • Supplementing income from tuition and fees, and directly supporting tuition assistance for families and tuition remission for children of eligible teachers and staff.

Generating a surplus and allowing the school to build up reserve funds that can be allocated to strategic investments in new programs, facility upgrades, or operational efficiencies.
