Lisa Itamura

Lisa has been a Waldorf parent for almost 20 years, with the last eight spent at the Waldorf School of Santa Barbara. Growing up in Los Angeles, she later spent many years living, working and traveling around the country and overseas before returning to California. Lisa has a bachelor’s degree in political science from UCLA and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Louisville. Her academic background has served her both in her professional life in economic and community development, as well as through her various volunteer endeavors. She values past opportunities as both co-chair of the Parent-Teacher Organization and as a member of the board of trustees at the Chicago Waldorf School, and is now grateful to serve on the WSSB Board. You can often find Lisa baking and cooking with and for her family, walking the family dog, reading or listening to audiobooks, running (slowly) by the beach, and most recently, trying to crochet and knit.
