Rowan Gaddis

Rowan Gaddis began his journey with Waldorf at a young age, completing K-8 at the Austin and then Pasadena Waldorf Schools. He emerged from these early experiences with a deep love for nature and music and a desire to share this with others. So, after receiving a BS in Biology from UCSB, he headed to Catalina Island to teach at an Environmental Education program for 2 years.

After experiencing the magic that abounds when working with children, he knew that education was his path, and what better education than Waldorf?! And so he spent the last 3 years co-teaching a preK- Kindergarten class in Boulder, CO, while pursuing his Masters in Waldorf Education (Grades Program) with Antioch University (New England).

He is now so excited to be back home on the gorgeous CA coast, joining WSSB as the Games Teacher this year! He is a surfing, climbing, skiing, biking and hiking lover of all kinds of movement and adventure, and he brings this enthusiasm to every class he teaches.
