Sena Markowitz
Sena grew up in Washington State and earned her B.A. in Psychology from The Evergreen State College, where she focused on intergenerational trauma. After graduating, she began her career in early childhood education as an assistant teacher at the Olympia Waldorf School—the same school she attended from kindergarten through eighth grade.
In 2022, Sena moved to Santa Barbara to pursue a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University. While she is passionate about her work in the mental health field, she has remained deeply connected to Waldorf education, a community and philosophy that continues to inspire her. She hopes to further her work in remedial therapy, bringing together her two passions.
Now in her second year with WSSB, Sena feels grateful to be part of such a wonderful community.
