Gifts From the Garden

The students have been working happily in the garden this term and are now reaping the rewards of their hard work!

Ms. Liz and other participants from the Autumn Biodynamic Gardening workshop harvested the compost loaves and sifted it into a fine, rich soil into the various beds. A meaningful way to celebrate Spring!

Community Fiber Workshop

Attention all "handworkers"! Ballard Sensei will be offering weekly gatherings in April to work on a beautiful, hand-crafted play mat that will be an auction item for the Spring Soiree. The project started with the 8th graders laying the first layer of fleece, followed by the 6th graders (along with Mr. Gaddis) wet felting the mat. Let us come together to inspire one another and enjoy! More information coming soon.
