Welcome Spring!
Grade 6 Presents Robin Hood
This week the Grade 6 Class presented their play, Robin Hood. This familiar tale came to life on the stage and out on the grass as the students portrayed the story, incorporating singing, folk dancing, music, and archery. It was a joyous event for all!
Congratulations to Grade 6 and Ms. Nelson!
Thank you, Mr. Gaddis and Story Dorie for all your help!

Great Room Update from Ms. Anderson
The funds raised from the Spring Soiree last year have been put to good use in the Great Room with the purchase of new chairs and carts. Our old white chairs were beginning to show their age and we didn’t have enough for our growing school. The teachers also worked with GUSD to repair some of the broken curtains, ceiling tiles, and to remove the old projector screen from the stage. We have also been working towards getting all of the recent graduating classes represented with a mounted photo and plaque on the Great Room wall. The last big improvement that the faculty is hoping to accomplish in the Great Room is an upgrade to our stage curtains, which don’t quite cover the whole stage. We are looking for any helpful suggestions or sources for either new stage curtains or adding to the curtains we have, and possibly new cables and rings to keep the curtain from sagging so much. If any handy parents have ideas or sources to help us achieve this goal, we would be grateful!
WSSB Steiner Study Group
Members of the WSSB community are warmly invited to join this weekly study group that will explore ideas supporting Waldorf education. Guided by members of the Helen Hecker Group, we start with a eurythmy exercise, then will read and discuss Lisa Romero's book, Spirit-led Community.
